I’m Alli, the stay at momma behind the screen. I am the wife to my high school sweetheart, Tanner. We were married in 2015, and life has been moving full speed ahead ever since! We have two sweet boys, Graham (5) + Beckett (3). We live in Eastern Kentucky where we built our home on my husbands family farm and enjoy all things farm life! Our mission in this life is to raise up our boys in the way of the Lord, serve Him daily, and use the resources we have been given by Him to live out our days.

Homeschooling
As soon as Tanner and I found out we were pregnant, I had the dream of homeschooling. I went to college and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, so being a teacher was always the plan. I just wasn’t fully aware at the time that I would become the teacher to my babies. What a blessing! I have a passion for all things home education! I often find myself using the tagline ” Hi I’m Alli, and I’m addicted to buying homeschool curriculum.” I also love childrens books, planning/ putting together activities for my boys, and organizing + reorganizing the homeschool classroom. I can’t wait to share all my favorite schooling from home ideas with you!

Homesteading
Each year Tanner and I have been adding to our homestead. We hope to one day be fully self- sustaining! We currently have a raised bed vegetable garden, as well as another garden where we harvest bigger crops such as beans, potatoes, etc. We have chickens that supply us with eggs, and our beef comes from his families cattle heard. I am dreaming of the day we have our own milk cow! Our boys are very active in everything it takes to run our little homestead. In fact, we consider it part of their schooling. I want to take you a long with us as we grow for years to come!

Homemaking
I want my home to be cozy, and a safe haven for my family. That is why I am very passionate about caring for my home. I truly enjoy keeping it tidy and organizing is actually therapeutic for me. One of my favorite past times is thrifting, which has turned into creating a ”collected home” where every piece has a story. I want this blog to be a place where I can share all the things that I am doing to make our house a home.
